“When I’m at Daystar Ranch watching my son it is a relief, to see him be so calm and relaxed. Since we’ve started going to Daystar Ranch I’ve noticed that my son has a very special connection with the horses. Before starting my son at the ranch he had a lot of trouble with every day life and being able to stay calm.
“It’s not just the horses it’s also the staff. They have a great staff they make you feel at home and work great with the kids. They always keep you informed of what they’re doing and make sure that every one is safe. Their very good at teaching horse safety and explaining why it’s so important. They are here to teach you all horse safety not just how to ride. As matter of fact they teach you to ride bare back and getting to know the body language of the horse so you know what the horse is trying to say. It is very important to learn the body language so that you don’t get hurt or the horse it’s self. It’s amazing how much there is to learn about horses and the responsibility that comes with them.
“If it were not for Daystar I don’t know what I would do for my son, he’s always in his own little world and acts like he’s been around horses his whole life. We’ve only been at Daystar for about 3 mos. I’m very grateful to all of those that make it possible for my son to come enjoy well spent time with his new found love of horses. To watch your child do something he loves is priceless and to that some day when he’s older he wants to train horses and help also is great.
